Reading, 1 April – Keyloop, a leading global automotive technology company, has completed the acquisition of Motortech.ai, a UK-based developer of AI-powered solutions purpose-built for automotive retail. The deal will see AIME integrated into Fusion, Keyloop’s Automotive Retail Platform (ARP), enhancing retailers’ websites with next-generation AI customer communication functionality that can replace traditional website forms.

AIME joins Fusion as a purpose-built AI-powered communication platform to support automotive sales and service, helping reduce the number of leads lost as a result of slow response times and a lack of out-of-hour support. It connects dealers to customers 24 hours a day with intelligent, human-like conversational interactions, and has the ability to search inventory, quote finance, value part-exchanges, take test drive preferences and book appointments to provide a seamless service.
AIME also qualifies customer interactions and directs the higher quality leads to sales staff. For each lead that reaches the sales team, the agent will have checked stock, quoted finance and valued the part-exchange, reducing the amount of human time required to complete a deal. This, and other new AI-driven functionality developed by Motortech.ai, will be integrated within the key functionality of Keyloop’s Fusion ARP, including the Vehicle Hub inventory management module, the Acquisition Hub website solution and Sales Hub, which connects every step of the sales process.
AIME has delivered £18 profit for every £1 invested by one dealer
Keyloop’s customers are already able to reap the benefits of Keyloop’s AI roadmap. One dealer has implemented AIME to boost customer satisfaction levels and consolidate some of its IT solutions. This retailer integrated AIME into its website, enabling the AI customer communication functionality to engage and nurture visitors to reduce drop-off, improve conversion and enhance the overall online customer experience, without placing additional strain on its customer service team.
Over a three month period, this retailer saw its web conversions jump four times, increasing to 14.5%. This has also led to increased sales by 101%, as well as delivering £18 profit for every £1 invested. Significantly, the business also saved the equivalent of 19 full working days, allowing sales staff to focus on higher value interactions with customers.
