Cawdor - Paid Social

Cawdor is a premier dealer group based in Wales established over 30 years ago and represents the Vauxhall, Isuzu, KGM, and Maxus brands for new and used vehicle sales, along with Ford and Mitsubishi for servicing. With a long-standing relationship built on trust and collaboration, the Keyloop Marketing Services team has been running Cawdor’s Paid Social activity for several years, helping to consistently deliver outstanding results.

For Cawdor, the challenge was a familiar one - maintaining strong performance and finding ways to generate more online leads and transactions through Meta. The team wanted to continue building on past success with Keyloop Marketing Services, while ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads to help drive the business forward.

To keep the momentum going, Cawdor and the Marketing Services team collectively agreed to prioritise improving performance through Paid Social with the aim of generating a quick return for the group. Keyloop’s Paid Social Specialist, Dan Pettit, worked closely with Sean Davies at Ad Fusion - the independent marketing company working with Cawdor – to drive continuous optimisation and maximise lead generation.  

To achieve the desired ROI, the Marketing Services team recommended utilising Meta lead generation ads. This approach consistently centred on this format, using carousel creatives that combined the strengths of auto inventory ads with the effectiveness of lead generation to capture high-quality enquiries.

The Keyloop Marketing Services team has consistently delivered strong performance for Cawdor, with Cost Per Lead (CPL) serving as the primary metric, driven by the use of Meta lead generation ads.  

In 2024, Cawdor achieved an average Cost Per Lead (CPL) of just £5.35 and as of September 2025, performance had strengthened further. CPL has fallen by a further 6%, and lead volume has increased by 12% YTD. These steady gains reflect sustained campaign optimisation and ongoing collaboration between Cawdor, Ad Fusion and the Keyloop Marketing Services team.
