Keyloop stands with LGBTQ+ community as sponsor of Reading Pride

Reading, 05 September 2025: As part of its ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) across its global operations, Keyloop played a key role in The Reading Pride 2025 event at Kings Meadow on 30 August, fulfilling a role as the event’s official LoveUnites sponsor.

Marking the fourth consecutive year in which Keyloop has sponsored the event, Renault UK loaned the team a Renault 5 to lead the Parade. The vehicle was later displayed on the Keyloop stand where it was joined by team members of local dealer, Martins Renault Reading.

Reading Pride followed a collaborative Pride panel hosted by Keyloop in partnership with Carwow, the UK’s car-changing marketplace. The networking event, Power to Change: Getting the Career you want in Automotive, was hosted at Keyloop’s Reading-based headquarters on 19 June and saw colleagues from retail businesses, OEMs and suppliers join to celebrate and support LGBTQ+ inclusion. The session was delivered in partnership with Driving Pride members, forming a pioneering industry network co-founded by Keyloop, focused on LGBTQ+ inclusion and allyship across the UK automotive sector.

The Power to Change event, which was attended by a number of industry professionals including Keyloop and Carwow staff, featured a keynote speech from Tesla’s Head of EMEA Revenue Operations, Steph Booth, and an insightful panel discussion on Getting the Career You Want in Automotive. Representing a diverse mix of voices from across the industry, panel guests included Caz Meech, Head of Internal Communications ay Keyloop, Ben Crawford, Proposition Development Manager at Carwow, Benjamin McCormick, Project Management Apprentice at Bentley Motors Limited, Nat Seel, Senior Strategic People Business Partner at Group 1 Automotive UK and Dan Hayman, Chief Operations Officer at Reading Pride. All shared insights on how to navigate and thrive in the world of automotive.

Caz Meech comments: “Keyloop is proud to be a founding member of Driving Pride, and these events mark our commitment to the wider DE&I strategy to help transform the automotive industry into a workspace that’s representative and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. Working with Carwow, we’re part of a growing movement to drive positive change where it’s long overdue.

At Keyloop, we’re dedicated to driving change, educating our teams and the wider industry about the importance of inclusion and how we can best support our LGBTQ+ colleagues, partners, and customers.”

Ben Crawford, Proposition Development Manager at Carwow, adds: “At Carwow, supporting inclusivity is a key business priority. Our employee-led LGBTQ+ committee, PrideWOW, celebrates DEI and the LGBTQ+ community, hosting and attending a series of impactful events and initiatives throughout Pride month, which showcase the incredible talent and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community within the Carwow Group and beyond. Partnering with Keyloop on Power to Change is another big step towards steering our industry in the right direction.”
